Talks in Presov, Slovakia

A whirlwind trip to Presov, Slovakia  (via Prague, Czech Republic) where I gave a couple of sessions at the Macmillan ELT event. Wonderful to see friends and colleagues again...and fantastic audiences!

FECEI 2013

Wonderful Saturday conference in Madrid hosted by FECEI. The organisation kindly asked me to do the plenary session. I chose the topic 'What Makes you Itch' based on a video narrated by Alan Watts and also based on recent home renovations! What the video that inspirted the session here.

Excerpt from a webinar I did last spring for OUP Spain :) 

Watch a brief excerpt of our Oxford Webinar with Nina Lauder, one of the authors of Explorers. Nina helped us reflect on what values we teach our students in class, and how we can make use of stories, images and discussion to demonstrate good models of behavior. Teachers who use the textbook Explorers have the figures of the explorers who remind students of good manners and citizenship values.
