IX Jornades de Llengües Estrangeres, Salou
Handout from the talk "Creating Curiosity in the Classroom". Wonderful, energetic audience and extremely patient with all the technical (and non-technical) 'glitches' (remote control didn't work, unplugged the projector, couldn't get microphone headset to fit, I almost wiped out)....what a session!

Granadilla - Reconstructing an abandoned village
This week I visited an amazing little village in Extremadura called Granadilla. Students from IES around Spain and reconstructing the village which was 'abandoned' years ago. Beautiful spot and interesting project. I talked to one of the teachers and one of the students and both said that the experience was very rewearding. For more information on the project CLICK
